Sports & Activities
Participation in sports and team activities fosters physical fitness, discipline, and important social skills like cooperation and leadership. These experiences complement academic learning by developing well-rounded individuals who can excel both in and out of the classroom.
As a member of ACAMIS (Association of China and Mongolia International Schools), our students engage with students from many and varied international schools. These competitive, collaborative, and cultural exchanges aim to enrich the experiential learning inherent in the curriculum.
Our students compete in a diverse range of activities. In sports, they participate in football (soccer), basketball, volleyball, cross country, badminton, and table tennis. Academic competitions include business simulation, Model United Nations, mathematics, Chinese language, and geography. Students also engage in various other competitive events beyond these core offerings.
Our school fosters a rich network of connections, collaborating with international and local schools across the island, Tangjiawan, Zhuhai and Eastern Asia. Why is this important? Engaging with students from diverse backgrounds and regions broadens perspectives, enhances communication skills, and fosters empathy, preparing young learners to thrive in our interconnected world. This exposure cultivates cultural intelligence, critical thinking, and global networking abilities, equipping students with the essential tools for future academic and professional success in a multicultural environment.
