Tofu Time

On Monday November 25th, the students that did not go to the Hong Kong adventure got to on a one day trip to a "Tofu Farm". The first thing that happened was, a woman gave them a little bit of the farms history and gave a little tutorial on how to make tofu.

After that, the students split into 2 groups, our group went to grind beans to make the tofu paste. The tofu grinding machine works by, putting beans into a hole, and pushing the top to grind the beans.

Later, we followed a man and took a tour of the farm, he showed us all of the crops and a flower that sticks to your clothes.

Finally, we had a super delicious lunch break and then took a boat ride in the river. I also forgot to mention that if we had free time we could play in the giant playground. So overall it was an insanely fun day and I would definitely go again!
